Love and Humble Beginning's

by - February 20, 2013

So, where does all the  love talk root from?  From fertile grounds of upbringing- you're absolutely right about that. Or maybe from somewhere else...It has to, what's the secret some viewers ask?  We attribute
the solidity of our love to parental upbringing, spirituality and the support of friend's and family. Oh! we can't forget about the life's experience's that we can't run from- good, and challenging.

Humble beginning's does define us; it could be the warm shower's from boiled water from the coal pot , the koko/ Porridge and fried nkosua for breakfast, or rice water on rainy morning's and occasional corn flakes..hmmm!!!

The distant walks to school with friends, with talks of soccer games over the weekend, anticipated christmas presents, and upcoming exams remain vivid in our memories. Good memories of learning english in school, and speaking twi at home- our parent's were concerned we might loose  mother tongue.

Playing soccer at school or after school were highlights, barefoot or in best shoes- oh man good times, playing ampe-Lilian say's were remarkable highlights after school.

The cricket's at night, might have played their role too. We enjoyed the silence "light off's", and engulfed in traditional cloth while we burned mosquito coil's  for fear of malaria.

Helping with chores at home, and not missing the night shower before bed were interesting and unavoidable experiences . The highlight of humble beginning's were the vacations to the village to see "Nana"

All has curtailed to our love.
