African King and Queen

So Imperfect, but, Perfectly in Love

It's Monday evening, few more hours yo dawn, the windows are down in the bedroom, it's almost silent outside, and the breeze is mildly chilling but soothing.

The tv is on in the living room with no one watching, Argo plays in the background and we fell the tension within the hostages minds and hearts. For us, we lay in bed, and engage in cozy conversations. No work today, therefore, we just decided to be 100% lazy in PJ's all day and listen to the clock tic-toc-tic-toc.

It's beautiful, it's peaceful, it's conversations about how much we love and adore ourselves, spiced with overwhelming accolades on our accomplishments by Gods grace.  For Marriage life, we are rookies at this, but we will soak up all the love and happiness marriage brings. It's certainly a gift from God, and God's gifts are serene and well carved for success. Therefore, we will continue to cherish these beautiful and simply serene moments.

God be with you all.
Love Always,
LilianandDennis

I wrote this for you on our flight to Texas. I thought you wouldn't mind being surprised on the blog. You probably just smiled those white teeth out of your beautiful lips, and wondered why I couldn't just tell you what's on my heart. I know, you're right, I could've said whatever I wanted to you rather than writing to you, however if I did, the air would steal some of the words and distort it through your ears, and your cochlear might have some challenges transcribing them. Also, if I got too close to you on the plane, you smell so good that my lips might get too personal. And with an audience such as this, that kind of attention lasts longer than a vine video.

Lilian, this coming Sunday would be a month that we've been married, I have tears in my ears, and my heart rejoices as I think about how much I love you. I love you, I adore, admire, respect, and I appreciate all that you do for us.  I have no power to have orchestrated you coming into my life, our union is Godsend. You are the best friend every man needs, you are the nurse every patient would want to be cared by, you are a pearl in your mothers eyes, a rare gem in your fathers heart, the sister every brother can't stop adoring, the mentor every girl needs, and most importantly, the angelic wife any husband cannot live without. Let's keep loving, our love is infinite. God has blessed our Love.

I love you
Your Beloved Husband,
Dennis

I'm not singing Neyo's hit-song, Maybe one day I will, for now, I just want you to know that I love, admire and adore you so much. My dear, you make me better as a man, and I love you. I love you. I love you.

The way you talk to me always makes me feel reassured no matter what comes my way; the ease at which you welcome my every dire need and accommodate my annoyance- makes me love you more and more.

I love the happiness within you, no matter how tough times get, or what situation we are in, you find a way to make things less heavy and bearable. I can go on and on and on.

I love your style.

I love your confidence, courage, reassurance, positive outlook on life, poise, dedication to our marriage, your friendship, silly laughs and giggly smiles,  your constant warmth, welcoming comfort, the eternal bond and commitment we share, and your heartily passionate meals fills me up for a lifetime. Can you make that Banku and Okro Soup sometime soon? Thank you.

You're always on my mind my AfricanQueen, and I cannot live a day without you. Have a blessed day at work.

LoveAlways,
Hubby,

We left Trinidad this morning at 715am sharp, that means we had to left the  hotel via taxi by 430am. We slept good though, we snugged and cuddled tighter and tighter knowing this would be our last night in Trinidad off a while. This vacation/wedding celebration will forever be inscribed in our hearts. Taking time of work away from our busy schedules woke us up to what we've been missing, simplicity in the way some live, we miss the sea, we miss the breeze, we miss the rain, and the beautiful aromas of well cooked meals. It took us aback to how we grew up in Ghana, and reopened our desire to celebrate and admire Mother Nature.

As we leave today, we leave with lots of bullet points on set goals, and have promised each other to take more time of the hustle and bustle lifestyle the marinate in all the God has created in nature. Last night we had dinner at an Indian restaurant, the food was good, the customer service was splendid, pricey, beautiful traditional Indian setting and very refreshing in elegance of Indian culture. The music they played took us aback to the Indian movies we watched growing up.

Before the food came we took pictures, kept on taking pictures and kept on critiquing our pictures until we had exhausted all silly siting poses. The food was well spiced, that shouldn't come as a surprise, very authentic, and well presented. We had some curry goat, some spicy, spicy spicy shrimp, and dreamed vegetables. A glass of wine eased mastication and some well chilled H2O confirmed gastric compliance.

The conversations we had at dinner were full of love. I talked to my husband, my husband held my hand and talked to me. We talked about our future together, saving money, professional goals, our aging parents, and our siblings. We prayed also, we asked God to continue guide us in all we do, to guide us in our decision making, to protect our friends and family, we prayed for infinite healthiness, and abundance of love, joy, peace, and successes.

As we blog from this flight heading backs to Jersey, it's our prayer that our safety lies in His hands. We thank you for keeping up with us, and we pray that His mercies and blessings will continue to be abundant in your lives, and in the lives of your family.

LoveAlways,
DennisandLilian.

This is a beautiful place in the Carribean. We feel so much at home, the weather is just right, the food, the food, the food is hm hm hm! The people are nice, callaged into diverse and vibrant racial facades. Very clean as well as hospitable people. It feel good to be here to celebrate LOVE, it's amazing to have attended a ravishing and resplendent wedding of Caleb and Cymanthia, this is God's making, we pray for all of God blessings to them and their families. They have been great hosts to us, and their wedding is the best we've been.

LoveAlways,

The splendid time we had at our wedding has given us every right drag our blog lazingly, but we have realized that we cannot be selfish by keeping it all to ourselves.

The taught of going back to work... we miss work and co-workers, but still in wedding mode. Maybe we can type this post slow-----ly.. Feels like we never worked before the wedding, all we talk about is how amazing the wedding was, and all the festivities involved. The friends and family we hadn't seen in ages who shared the day with us- we are humbled. Thinking back now, nostalgia is kicking in.  The music, the food, ok ok back to business. One last thing, we thank God for a successful wedding.

First day back to work was not a busy day, so we got to share our pictures and sweet memories with our co-workers who couldn't make it to the wedding. Our glow was undeniable- most said. Overall, it felt good to have had so much positive accolades from the people you spend most of your  week with. It's amazing what we do as healthcare providers, and its inspiring to share serene ambience with optimistic people.

Lovealways,
