African King and Queen

So Imperfect, but, Perfectly in Love

The swine is Devine. We had Jerk Pork for the first time, and tell you what? It tasted so good we wanted to hug whoever cooked it, it was  well spiced, well cooked, and lovingly well sautéed in Jamaican culture and splendor. The jerk chicken on the other hand,  had no competition, graciously on point. We had curry goat, oxtail and stew fish, and hm hm hm ...mama Mia... is all we can say......Jamaica does take cooking and good eats to a different level. To a higher level they say.

Most importantly, this might sound like an advertisement, but, please don't miss out on any all inclusive deals. We are yet to explore other parts of Jamaica, so far Ocho Rios has been ideal and all we expected it to be. When it comes
To the beach here, Bahamas might have Jamaica beat when it comes to the beaches overall...are we speaking too soon? Let's wait and see........

Honestly, it's quite overwhelming the amount of good and drinks available. It's unbelievable to have drinks and food served around the clock with such great customer service, with such good quality of food. The weather is just right this September, and the Sun does justice to the tan seekers, however, spares no one of its fury. The pools are clean and and well catered for. Well chlorinized and life guards are proactive.

The only downside is the stray cats at night. We love animals, but these fatherless cats at night do justice to vacation seekers. We couldn't get used to them. They came in different colors, but primarily black; and you know what they say about black cats..........

Bars, Live Music, Discoteques, around the clock, name it, Jamaica has it. We might have to continue this post.... Some Jerk Chicken just hmmm..... Later people

Thanks for reading,
Love Always

It's been a smooth flight so far, and the stopover in Miami was less cumbersome than we thought. We stopped by Valdez cafe for breakfast, and ended up reading TD Jakes Instinct; least to say, we've fallen in love with this book. It's all we expected and more.

Two chapters completed , and we are excited to have found this outpouring wisdom all in one book. It's motivating, enlightening, and captivating.

Currently, we are  en route to Montego Bay airport, and American Airlines have been generous enough to provide us with free wifi on board, trust that this is  much needed and highly convenient.

We've waited long to see Jamaica, and for the next few days, we promise to share all of our experiences with you; and we hope you will get the opportunity to experience this vacation for yourself soon.

Thank you for reading,
Love Always

No Jollof rice jokes today. Maybe a few. Hope you had a good day, and you're eager to read today's post. Trust that we appreciate your drive to be enlighted or hear something new about us. We both worked 12+ today, so excuse any grammatical error(s), and embrace our concept on winning as a couple.

To us winning is simply defined as the being able to maintain happiness and good health of our friends and family. If we are able to achieve this medium or notion constantly, that's a win for us. To be able to pick up the phone,  to call a good friend or a parent and feel the love and support for all we do, that's a win for us. An unconditional support system is the best win for us. With this comes greater achievements and security in financial grounding.

It's ok if you have a better or alternative defifinition for winning in life, we'd love to hear about it. Maybe, getting Jollof rice daily is a win for you, or being able to have financial freedom is a win for you- we'd love to hear about it.

As always, thank you for reading.

Love Always,

When we first met, the honeymoon phase was splendid, and we were angels in our brightest character shades, often "too perfect to do wrong",  however, it was so amazing. It's still amazing, more amazing, with time and prayer, love gets better. Back to the topic, so like we said earlier, lost in thoughts..............Time went by, days, weeks, and then months....then we had our first argument, can you believe we first argued over jollof rice; just kidding- thought we'd slip that in here; seriously can't remember our first silliest argument; however, it was a wake up call to how human we are.

It's very easy to see the best side of a relationship looking outwards in. It's rare to see the challenges couples face, especially in the early phase of the relationship, as learning of and from each other is paramount. So to all the single ones out there " sometimes e no be easy oooo"

We've been there, sometimes it's inevitable to avoid arguing, think about this,  perfection in marriage realistically is not practical. As long as there's human respect and dignity, nothing is insolvable. What we've learned so far is that,  even in the face of a misunderstanding, be kind.

How do we work ours out? We do so by accepting our faults, if not right away, eventually we do, however, no problem leaps over midnight. We do our best to address and solve our issues before bedtime. Prayer has solidified our bond, and at a year old in marriage, Gods voice and guidance continue to strengthen us.

We encourage you not to give up on your love due to a silly arguments ooooo, understand that no one is perfect. We all do make mistakes in life, therefore, embrace each other's positive imperfection, embrace and grow together in love through your lifetime.

Try to imagine tomorrow, you can decide to paint it the way you want it, you can make it colourful or dull, bright or meek, but most people would want a better tomorrow. A better tomorrow starts with the choices we make today. The decisions we make, undoubted determination mixed with the right amount of persistence and self motivation is all it takes for a better tomorrow.

You should read this blog if you've put your dreams to reality, or have set goals that are in progress. On here, is a testament of determination, hardwork, and persistence. The choices we've made is what has groomed us this way. There's no magic pill. On second thought, you're the magic pill. Only you can make your dreams come true.

Not too long after we met, it was obvious that we wanted the same achievements and accomplishments in life, so we set sail. Aware of the strong tides and high winds, we were determined to swim through challenges, today, we are confident and humbled to enjoy the cool breeze and warm weather in these calm winds.

There are no shortcuts in life. Hard work is the only pill to success. Be mindful of the choices you make, be conscious of how it affects everyone around you.

Love Always,

Same time last year, it rained in the morning just as today, we had spoken on the phone all morning as we anticipated our big day.  We were in the same hotel getting ready with our families, so beautiful. So beautiful.......It was a day that we had worked so hard for, prayed so hard for, and a day that God put together.

Today, we celebrate a year of marriage. Thank you Lord. It's been amazing, we've accomplish so much together, we've grown so much together and our Love foundation is so strong forever.
Above all, we are thankful for the support of our families, friends and loved ones, and to you our readers. It's a blessing to be young and in love.

We really want to have another wedding, sometime in the future. After we have some little ones running around. We relive our wedding day through pictures, presents and the love of all who supported us, and continue to support us.

As we journey into our sophomore year, we're confident that God will continue to prevail in all that we do.

It feels good to confidently say "God Never Fails".  Very soon, we turn 4 years of love and a wonderful journey full of challenges, breakthrough's, successes, failures, love, friendship and marriage. In spite of all that we've been through, God has not left our side. The blessings and the memorable moments we've shared together overshadows the ordeals that we have endured.

Similar wardrobe can be purchased from Ted Baker ASOS Nordstrom & Forever 21

Our message to you today is to stand firm at all times, and when the going get's tough, and you feel that no one else is on your side, remember that God will always be there for you. Isn't that a heartwarming thought? Certainly is, certainly is. God Never Fails, therefore, you will never be a failure.

Thank you for reading.
God Bless,
